Our content and photos
The writing and design on this site belong to Discover Delta. You're welcome to share links to it. Please ask before republishing our articles.
Many photos are by other photographers and are used under Creative Commons and other licences. Their licences and credits are listed on the photo credits page, and those licences apply if you reuse them.
What you send us
When you send us a story, photos, an event or a business listing, you confirm that it's yours to share, or that you have permission, and that it's accurate. You let us publish it on the site and our social media, with credit to you, as the form describes. You keep ownership, and you can ask us to take it down.
We check submissions before publishing and may edit or decline them.
Accuracy
We research carefully and list our sources, but facts change: opening hours, prices, festival dates, roads. Check with the place, organiser or authority before you travel or make a decision. We're not responsible for losses that come from relying on the site.
Investment information
Our investment pages give general information, not financial, legal or investment advice. Discover Delta is independent and isn't a government agency. For approvals and incentives, speak to the Delta State Investments Development Agency and your own advisers.
The community and marketplace
The Discover Delta community runs on WhatsApp and has its own house rules. Sales in the marketplace are between buyers and sellers: Discover Delta isn't a party to them and doesn't check sellers or items.
Event listings
Organisers are responsible for their events. Listings marked "Sample" are placeholders that show how listings will look.
Merch
The shop isn't open yet. Terms of sale, delivery and returns will be published on the shipping and returns page before it opens.
Links to other sites
We link to other websites, including our sources. We're not responsible for their content.
